WICHITA, Kan.- The Wichita State women's golf team began play at the Missouri State Stewart Memorial at the Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield, Mo. After day one of play, the Shockers are in fifth, out of 16 teams, with a 319. Oklahoma City University leads the tournament six strokes ahead of the competition with a 304.
Sophomore Krista Hrdlicka is currently tied for fourth with a first round of 75, four strokes away from first. Senior Catalina Guacaneme is one stroke behind her teammate with a 76 and is tied for tenth.
Senior Nicole Lloyd is currently tied for 31st with a round of 82, while junior Jamie Raines is tied for 54th with an 86. Sophomore Megan Bartlett is tied for 62nd with a first day score of 87. Sophomore Ashley Parker played as an individual and is currently tied for 39th with a score of 83.
The Shockers will conclude the tournament on Tuesday, April 3, with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
