Accessible Seating
Wheelchair accessible seating is located on the second level of the West Side Grandstands, accessible by ramp or elevator.
Alcoholic Beverages
It is prohibited to bring alcohol into Wichita State athletic facilities. Violators will be subject to ejection and university disciplinary action.
Animals
Animals or pets of any kind are prohibited in University Stadium with the exception of service dogs and/or service dogs in-training. Please see
Service Animals for full set of policies.
ATM
The closest ATM to University Stadium is located inside of the Charles Koch Arena Ticket Office.
Baby Changing Stations
Baby changing tables are available inside the men’s and women’s restrooms inside of Charles Koch Arena. A nursing mothers’ room is available inside of Charles Koch Arena by Section 124.
Bags
Wichita State athletics strongly encourages fans to not bring any type of bag to events at all WSU athletic facilities. For Track & Field events, bags of reasonable size will be permitted. Coolers and wagons will not be permitted into the competition area. All bags are subject to search upon entry.
Banners and Signs
Banners and signs are permitted, provided they are hand-held (no sticks), can be stored beneath seat, and do not block view of other patrons. Signs may not be larger than 24” x 36” and must be collapsible. Any banner or sign containing profanity or objectionable material will be disallowed.
Cameras
Video cameras or professional cameras are prohibited in University Stadium. Small still cameras are permitted, as long as they are carried or in a bag measuring 5.5” x 7.5” or less. The bag and small still camera are subject to inspection. Small still cameras are considered any camera that is smaller than 4″ in length and width. Tripods, monopods and cameras with detachable or interchangeable lenses are not permitted. Camera bags must abide by the Bag Policy.
Concessions
For Shocker Pre-State/KT Woodman Meet and the KSHSAA High School State Track Meet, there will be concession stands open. Concessions are operated by Premier Food Services and are located underneath the West Grandstands and other pop-up locations which vary per track meet. Fans are not permitted to bring food or beverages into University Stadium when concessions are being sold.
Disabled Parking
Limited parking for the disabled is available on a first-come, first-serve basis in the Charles Koch Arena main parking lot.
Ejection
WSU Athletics reserves the right to eject any person whose behavior is in violation of the fan code of conduct, policies, procedures or illegal in nature. Tickets will be collected from the patron without refund and they will be escorted from the stadium.
Emergencies
In the case of an emergency please find the closest event staff or emergency personnel. Emergency calls must be placed through WSU Police at (316) 978-3450, or by dialing 911. If available, please give the seat location to the police.
Fan Code of Conduct
Wichita State University desires to provide an atmosphere conducive to enjoying events at University Stadium. Consequently, we ask that you refrain from the following:
• Interfering with the progress of the game.
• Smoking.
• Foul, obscene or abusive language/actions.
• Fighting, unruly or inconsiderate behavior.
• Conduct that endangers you, other fans or participants.
Field Access
In accordance with Wichita State Athletics policies, only authorized personnel with proper credentials will be allowed on the field before, during, or after an event. Any unauthorized person who travels onto the field will be removed from University Stadium.
First Aid
Persons requiring first aid or emergency assistance should contact an event staff member, WSU police officer or WSU athletics personnel.
Food and Beverage Policy
Fans are not permitted to bring outside food or beverages into University Stadium for individual consumption. Exceptions include baby formula, baby food, and medication or other special needs.
· One 16 oz. sealed water bottle per person is permitted into the facility.
· Personal and insulated cups are not permitted inside of University Stadium.
Gates Open
For Shocker Pre-State/KT Woodman Meet and KSHSAA High School State Track Meet, spectator gates will open 60 minutes prior to the first event inside of University Stadium.
Lost and Found
Report or deliver lost/found items to a WSU police officer or the WSU ticket office. Please contact event office at (316) 978-7592 to check the status of lost items.
Lost Children/Parents
In the event your child is lost, IMMEDIATELY notify a member of the event staff, an athletic department official, or a uniformed police officer. All lost children should be escorted to the nearest campus or athletic department official. Parents of lost children should follow the same procedure.

Merchandise & Programs
Merchandise and programs are available for purchase under the West Grandstands of University Stadium.
Non-Smoking Policy
Wichita State is a tobacco free campus as of July 1, 2017. Smoking, including e-cigs and electronic cigarettes, and any tobacco use is not allowed inside or outside University Stadium.
Parking
Parking is available in lots surrounding the stadium.
Prohibited Items: The following items are prohibited from entering University Stadium:
- Drugs and alcohol
- Outside food and drink
- Coolers
- Weapons – firearms, knives, razor blades, pepper spray, tasers, brass knuckles, cat keys, etc.
- Noisemakers – air horns, bells, megaphones, whistles, etc.
- Laser pointers
- Flash/professional photography, detachable lenses, monopods, tripods
- Selfie sticks
- Live animals (except service animals)
- Large/Golf umbrellas (non-retractable)
- Wagons or large carriers
- Strollers, infant car seats, and/or baby carriers
- Seat Cushions larger than 14” x 14” x 6”
- Computers and tablets larger than 14” x 14” x 6”
- Wichita State reserves the right to prohibit any other items deemed inappropriate by security.
If an item is revealed during a search, patron may dispose of the item or return it to their vehicle. Wichita State staff reserves the right to prohibit any items they deem inappropriate.
Re-Entry
For Track & Field events, re-entry is permitted. Those wishing to leave and re-enter, must get a stamp or mark on their way out. Upon re-entry, patrons will be required to go through a security check each time they enter.
Resale of Game Tickets
Patrons may not re-sell tickets at any price on stadium grounds.
Restrooms
Restrooms are located underneath the Grandstands. For Shocker Pre-State/KT Woodman and KSHSAA State Track, restrooms will also be available for use in a restricted area in Koch Arena.
Security
- Suspicious activity, disruptive patrons and guest related problems should be reported to security, event staff, or police officer immediately.
- Uncooperative patrons showing disregard for other patrons, the arena or the teams may be ejected from the facility.
- Ticket holders are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their guests and/or person using the tickets.
- Spectators are reminded that they are prohibited from entering onto the field before, during, and after the playing contest unless they are properly credentialed or accompanied by an authorized staff member. Violators are subject to arrest.
- You and your belongings may be searched upon entering the facility.
Service Animals
Animals or pets of any kind are prohibited in University Stadium with the exception of service dogs and/or service dogs in-training. For guests with disabilities, service animals are welcome inside the venue, but must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. Service animals shall rest in the seating area of the individual with a disability, rather than a walkway. A guest whose service animal poses a threat to the safety of other guests and/or WSU Athletics employees, may be asked to escort the animal off of the premises.
According to Kansas State Law, emotional support, comfort, or therapy animals do not have rights under the ADA and are prohibited entrance into any WSU Athletics’ facilities.
Smoking / Tobacco-Free Policy
Wichita State is a tobacco free campus. No use of any tobacco products including, but not limited to, chewing tobacco, cigars, cigarettes, pipes, electronic cigarettes, vaporizers, hookah or other water pipe devices will not be allowed for use on university property
Tailgating
Tailgating is not permitted in university lots without permission from Wichita State Athletics.
Tickets
General Information: Anyone age three (3) and over must possess a valid ticket for entry into University Stadium.
For Shocker Pre-State/KT Woodman Meet and KSHSAA High School State Track Meet, the ticket office will open 60 minutes prior to the first event inside of University Stadium.
Credit Card: Credit card will be accepted at all ticket offices but the East side. The ticket office on the east side is cash only.
Scalping / Resale of Game Tickets: The reselling of tickets (at any price) is NOT permitted on campus grounds.
Will Call: Fans may pick up “Will Call” tickets at the ticket office on the third base side. A photo ID is required of anyone picking up tickets at Will Call, and tickets will only be released to the individual whose name the tickets are left for.
