Willowbend Golf Club - Home of the indoor facility for the Wichita State Men's and Women's Golf Programs
Built in 2017, the Wichita State Athletic Department and Willowbend Country Club teamed up to build an indoor facility for the Shocker men's and women's golf teams on the property of Willowbend Golf Club.
The facility features an indoor putting green that accommodates both long and sloped putts, alongside a hitting bay that connects to the driving range, allowing for year-round practice despite potential weather issues. Cameras inside the facility allow coaches to view and analyze golfers' swings, while a team room and lounge will allow student-athletes to relax between practices, with another area dedicated to schoolwork.
The 3,400-square-foot facility will be located alongside the driving range at Willowbend, which has been the home of Wichita State men's and women's golf since the closure of Braeburn Golf Course in 2014.
