COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Wichita State women concluded competition at the NCAA West Preliminaries Saturday at E.B. Cushing Stadium.

Destiny Masters was the lone Shocker on the final day of competition. She placed 15
th in a tough high jump battle, clearing 1.81m/5'11.25" on third attempt, just missing out on advancing to the NCAA Championships by three spots. She will still compete in Eugene, Ore., though, as she already punched her ticket in the heptathlon.

On Thursday in the javelin, sophomore
Jenna Kuepker capped her first season with the Shockers, placing 23
rd with a throw of 46.29m/151'10". Masters took 44
th in the event with a throw of 41.06m/134'8".

Freshman
Aurora Wessel finished 39
th in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 13.69 to wrap up a successful first collegiate season, and
Farrah Miller finished out her collegiate career with a 31
st-place finish in the 800 meters, running 2:07.91.
