AZUSA, Calif. – A Wichita State distance trio clocked fast 10,000-meter times at the Bryan Clay Invitational Thursday inside the Cougar Athletic Stadium.
Â
Sophomore Elkana Kipruto claimed his fifth Wichita State record between cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field, running 28:09.21 to finish sixth in heat one of the men's invite section of the 10,000 meters. He broke Mornay Annandale's 35-year-old record of 28:48.64 set in 1991.
