WICHITA – The Wichita State cross country and track and field teams landed 12 student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday, June 23.

Student-athletes were required to maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. Cross country athletes needed to finish in the top 50 at the NCAA regional competition while track and field athletes most hold a top-50 regional rankings in a single event during the indoor or outdoor season.

Chairo Ogbebor,
Carson Ratzlaff and
Rikard Trogen Hedin were selected for the men's all-district team, and
Sarah Bertry,
Isa Evans,
Shellamae Farmer,
Sadie Millard,
Kylie Scott and
Mattelyn Swartz were named to the women's all-district team.
