EUGENE, Ore. – Wichita State's Jelese Alexander wrapped up competition at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, earning All-America Honorable Mention recognition Saturday evening at Hayward Field.
 
The senior from Bon Accord, Trinidad and Tobago cleared 1.79m/5'10.5" to tie for 19^th in the nation. Alexander concludes her collegiate career and single season with the Shockers as Wichita State's outdoor high jump and long jump program record holder, the American Conference outdoor high jump champion and the 19^th-place finisher at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
