WICHITA, Kan. – Women's golf head coach Tom McCurdy has finalized his team's tournament schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
 
The 2024-25 campaign will be the 18th for McCurdy as leader of the Shockers.

"I'm really excited for this year's schedule," said McCurdy. "We're playing in several new to us events and events we haven't played in for a very long time. Our strength of schedule this year compared to previous years is very strong.".
 
The Shocker clubs begin the new season with a short trip to Manhattan, Kansas and Colbert Hills Golf Course, where they will play in The Powercat Invitatiional September 9-10.
 
The team follows that with back-to-back trips to Colorado, first to Eagle, where they will play in the Golfweek Red Sky Classic September 23-25, and then cross the border again from October 4-6 to play in the Ron Moore Intercollegiate in Denver, hosted by the University of Denver. The Shockers will then get two weeks off, before traveling to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas to play in the Diamante Intercollegiate, hosted by the University of Arkansas – Little Rock.
 
The Shockers will unthaw after the winter freeze with a jaunt to San Marcos, Texas, to play in the Texas State Invitational at Vaaler Creek Golf Course February 3-4.
 
The team will then make three trips to Arizona to play in the Rio Verde Invitational in Rio Verde February 21-23, the Mountain View Intercollegiate March 2-4 in Tucson, and the Red Rocks Invitational in Oak Creek March 14-16.

The 2024-25 regular season ends for the Black and Yellow in College Station, Texas at the "Mo" Morial Invitational hosted by Texas A&M April 7-8.
 
The 2025 American Athletic Conference Championship is once again being hosted at Southern Hills Plantation Club in Brooksville, Florida, running from April 14 to April 16.

"This year, we're going to see quite a few teams that we don't normally get to play against and teams from different regions as well," said McCurdy. "If we go out and perform well, playing against this strong competition will give us great chances to improve our national ranking."
 
Coach McCurdy's 2024-25 roster consists of eight players, split evenly with four returners and four newcomers. Juniors Mackenzie Wilson and Kate Tilma headline the returning group, joined by graduate student Sarah Lawson and junior Brooklyn Benn , while international freshmen additions Amy Knotts, Amelie Paul, and Lara Stifter, join Troy transfer Samantha Straight to round out the roster.
