OPENING TIPS
> Wichita State returns home for a four-game home stretch in Charles Koch Arena, starting with Southeastern Louisiana on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
> Wichita State leads the all-time series 1-0, winning 65-44 on Nov. 28, 1986.
> Tre'Zure Jobe is averaging 13.7 points per through the first six games, leading the team in scoring.
> Jobe has started all 117 games of her collegiate career, including her years at Emporia State.
> Daniela Abies is the team's leading rebounder, averaging 7.2 rebounds per game with one double-double (18 pts, 11 reb) against Akron.
> Abies averages 12.7 points per game and finished in double figures in five consecutive games.
> Abies leads the conference in offensive rebounds per game (4.5) and field goal percentage (.600). She currently ranks 18th in the nation in offensive rebounds per game and 30th in field goal percentage.
> The Shockers are 3-0 in games they were not out-rebounded.
> Wichita State ranks in the top 100 nationally in the following categories: No. 40 in three-point percentage defense (24.1), No. 71 in free throw attempts per game (20.67), No. 73 in turnover margin (4.3), No. 77 in bench points per game (25.0), and No. 84 in turnovers forced per game (19.3).

> Wichita State returns just 34.7 percent of its scoring from a season ago, having lost its top two leading scorers and three other triple-digit point scorers. Trajata Colbert and Curtessia Dean exhausted their eligibility, and three of the top six scorers departed through the transfer portal.
> Wichita State has only two true freshmen on the roster in Salese Blow (Texas) and Sophia Goncalves (California).
> Blow has scored 9, 9, 8, 19, 5 and 20 points in her first five collegiate games, getting her first collegiate start at Belmont.
> Three Shockers are averaging double-digit scoring (Jobe 13.7 ppg, Abies 12.7 ppg, Blow 11.7 ppg)
> Sierra Morrow has yet to make her Shocker debut as she awaits the NCAA's decision on her transfer waiver.

SCOUTING SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA
> Led by seventh-year head coach Ayla Guzzardo, Southeastern Louisiana (3-3) is coming off a 75-47 win over NAIA school, Mobile after dropping two-straight to No. 7 LSU and Jackson State.
> Two Lions are averaging double-digit scoring with Cheyanne Daniels leading the team with 13 points per game and Hailey Giaratano averaging 11.5 points per game.
> Daniels and Giaratano are the team's leading rebounders, averaging 5.5 rebounds per game.
> Southeastern Louisiana is ranked top 25 in three defensive categories, sitting at eighth in the nation in three-point percentage defense (20.5), 18th in scoring defense (51.7) and 21st in field goal percentage defense (33.1).
> Southeastern Louisiana was picked to win the Southland Conference after winning both the regular season and conference tournament a season ago.

NON-CONFERENCE NOTABLES
• Wichita State faced three first-time foes in the non-conference docket, Presbyterian, Belmont and Dayton.
• The Shockers opened their season against No. 23 Oklahoma.
• Belmont (MVC) and Southeastern Louisiana (Southland) were picked to win their respective leagues.
• The Shockers' play two games against teams that finished inside the Top 50 of last year's NCAA NET Rankings (Kansas – 30 and Oklahoma – 38).

LAST TIME OUT
> Dayton, ranked No. 31 in the nation in offensive rebounds coming into the game, outrebounded the Shockers (3-3) 50-27 with Arianna Smith tallying 19 rebounds by herself. The Flyers collected 20 offensive rebounds to the Shockers' 8.
> Salese Blow scored a career-high 20 points to lead all scoring, and Tre'Zure Jobe tied her Division I career high with 16 points.
> Daniela Abies finished in double figures (10 pts) for the fifth-consecutive game as she and Ornella Niankan recorded a team-high 5 rebounds apiece.
> Dayton's 37 first-half points were the most scored against the Shockers in the first half all season.
> The -23 rebound margin was the worst of the season for the Shockers.
