IRVING, Texas – Wichita State volleyball student-athletes
Brylee Kelly and
Sinalauli'i Uluave were named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for their performances on the court during the week of Feb. 8-14, that conference office announced Monday, Feb. 15.

Both Kelly and Uluave are first-time selections to the conference's weekly honor roll.

Kelly, a redshirt sophomore outside hitter from Monee, Ill., averaged a team-best 3.43 kills and four points per set, and hit .315 with 24 kills in Wichita State's two wins at Tulsa Thursday, Feb. 11, and Friday, Feb. 12. In Thursday's 3-0 sweep of the Golden Hurricane, she hit a career-best .455 with 11 kills on 22 swings and only one error.

Kelly also had five block assists in her two matches.

Uluave, a sophomore libero/outside hitter from La'ie, Hawaii, averaged a team-high 4.86 digs per set and compiled 44 digs in WSU's pair of wins over Tulsa. In the Shockers' 3-1 triumph over the Golden Hurricane Friday, she posted a career-high 23 digs.

Wichita State (7-0, 2-0 American) is scheduled to host the SMU Mustangs Friday, Feb. 19, and Saturday, Feb. 20, at Charles Koch Arena.
