WICHITA, Kan. -Wichita State (17-10, 9-6) fell to conference champion Rice (18-8, 14-1) 3-0 on Friday night at Charles Koch Arena in its last home match of the season. Rice won by scores of 27-25, 25-20 and 25-17.
The Shockers recorded a .128 hitting percentage with 42 kills and 22 errors. The Owls hit .186, with 42 kills and 15 errors.
The Shockers' final regular season match is at Temple at 11 a.m. CT on Sunday.
