Coach Lamb on Sophia:Â "Sophia Gilbert was kind of a late surprise. I had no idea she was the daughter of a former player of mine at Arizona. She probably flew under the radar a little bit because of some transition with school and clubs, but has the arm talent to score, and I'm impressed with her work ethic. I think that's what makes her a good prospect. She'll go as far as her movement, skills and bounce go and how she can improve physically. She's got the want to and the arm talent to score."

Â
Coach Lamb on Brea: "I've had my eye on Brea a long time, being a local girl. My initial reaction was that she was good enough — I just didn't know if she wanted it badly enough. Her junior year of club volleyball and her senior year of high school volleyball, you could tell that she had much more of a presence to her. She's got the speed and the hand-eye coordination to become a really good libero in our conference, and I think she can get playing time right away."

Â
Coach Lamb on Kate:Â "Kate reminds me a lot of former Shocker Brylee Kelly at the same age with her length and skill. I feel like she's a girl who can play left and right and be a passer and a back row player. With her length that's hard to find, so there's a lot to like with Kate. I just feel like as strength goes and keeping up with the speed of the game, that will sort of define how she goes. I think Brylee Kelly's a really good comparison for her, and Brylee turned into a player that did a lot for us."

Â
Coach Lamb on Addie:Â "Addie was a girl that came to camp two years ago and honestly reminded me so much of former Shocker
Emily Hiebert, just with her stature and strength. She will walk in the door more of an accomplished setter than Emily out of high school. I think that she has everything she needs to be a 5-1 setter that can participate at the net as a blocker and as an attacker and she's shown the strength to be able to range with her hands all over the floor. As her movement, skill, and defense goes her career will go. I think everything else will be a piece of cake. Those things go well for her, so will her career."
Olivia Stein
6-1 | OH | Ingalls, Kansas (Ingalls HS)
High School: Four-year letterwinner and four-year starter for head coach Bulma Galaviz at Ingalls High School…2025: Named first team all-league, first team all-state and AVCA all-region…Collected 708 kills, 79 service aces and 323 digs and hit .383…Team placed third at state and named to State Tournament team…Team won league tournament championship...2024: Named first team all-league, first team all-state and AVCA all-region…Member of PHENOM watch list…Team placed third at state and named to State Tournament team...First team all-state and all-league in basketball…2023: Named first team all-league, first team all-state and was a member of PHENOM watch list…First team all-league in basketball…2022: First team all-league and named to the State Tournament team…Career: 2,640 kills, .490 hitting percentage, 1,234 digs, 240 service aces, 90 blocks…Broke the record for the most kills in a high school career in the state of Kansas with 2,640…Member of the National Honor Society…Also participates in basketball and track...

Â
Coach Lamb on Olivia:Â "What makes her a great prospect is she is just powerful and a big physical outside hitter. I would say as her skill improves, so will her career go as a ball handler and as a defender. She hasn't played a lot of high, high level club volleyball, but she's a classic Shocker recruit and all the talent is there. We've just got to bring her along and watch her grow with her skill and pace of the game. She set the Kansas high school record for kills this year and that's a cool story."
