Participants of all ages and skills levels will have the opportunity to sharpen their racket skills during a special tennis and pickleball clinic, hosted by the Wichita State men's and women's tennis teams.

The fundraiser runs from 6-8:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 14 at the Wichita Country Club. Registration is $100 for tennis, pickleball, food and drink or $50 for food and drink only.

Proceeds benefit the Shocker tennis programs and will help support the annual Wichita Tennis Open.

Both Shocker tennis teams open their spring seasons at home on Saturday, Jan. 22. The women will face Saint Louis (2 p.m.) and Newman (6 p.m.) at the Wichita Country Club. The men play host to Saint Louis and Oral Roberts at Genesis Rock Road (times TBA).

The Wichita Tennis Open—a USTA Pro Circuit tournament played annually at WSU's Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex – has an expanded format for its seventh summer. The men's portion runs from June 13-19, 2022 followed by the first-ever women's draw, June 20-26, 2022.
