OMAHA, Neb. – Four members of the Wichita State men's tennis team are slated to start the second tournament of the fall on Friday, September 27, at the Creighton Invitational, in Omaha, Neb.

The doubles portion of the tournament will be played round robin style, with every team in each flight playing each other once, while singles will be played in a traditional tournament style with each flight being put into brackets.

Doubles play for the Shockers will begin on Friday at 12 p.m. as Elio Lago and Bruno Serra will face off against Andreja Petrovic and Lukas Buth from the University of North Dakota in flight A, while Murkel Dellien and Rafael Serra will battle it out with Daniel Lopez-Rey and Stratton Brown from Creighton University in flight B.

Each doubles team will play two matches on Friday, and their third and final match on Saturday.

Both Dellien and Lago will be in singles flight A as they will play against Nathan Reekie from the University of Nebraska Omaha and Nick Campbell from Creighton, respectively. Meanwhile, the Serra twins will begin their collegiate tennis careers in singles, as Bruno will be opposed by Armando Gandini of Creighton in flight B, and Rafael will seek victory against Sam Coy of Doane University.

The first round of singles will be played on Friday following the first two rounds of doubles and will conclude on Saturday once the final games of doubles are finished.
