LUBBOCK, Texas – Wichita State recorded a dozen Shocker all-time top-10 marks, including one school record set Friday night at the Texas Tech Corky/Crofoot Shootout.

Tianna Holmes capped off the Texas Tech Corky/Crofoot Shootout setting a women's 4x400m school record in 3:38.21. The group currently ranks No. 2 in the American Athletic Conference.

Wichita State ended the meet with 11 other marks falling on the  Shocker all-time top-10 lists, including six on the women's side and five on the men's.

Amanda Kakoulias and
Cory Martens were the only Shockers to record at least two individual all-time top-10 marks on the day. Kakoulias moved up to No. 2 in shot put (14.79m/48-6.25) and No. 7 in discus (46.66m/153-1), while Martens moved to No. 6 in discus (55.26m/181-3) and No. 7 in shot put (17.63m/57-10.25).

Shockers success continued in the field events as true freshman
Amiya Anoma cracked the top-10 in triple jump (12.64m/41-5.75), while
Isaiah Evans hammer throw of 59.16m/194-1 is No. 8 on the men's list and
Mason Buckmaster equaling the No. 10 mark in high jump of 2.11m/6-11.

Holmes blazed the track with the third fastest 400m time in Shocker history of 53.80, while McMillian followed suit running the fourth fastest 200m in 24.07.
Paula Garcia clocked the seventh fastest 100m time in 11.71.

True freshman
Joseph Holthusen cracked the men's 110m hurdles all-time top-10 lists with a time of 14.19.

Wichita State recorded five event titles, three on the men's side and two on the women's. Senior
Aaron True kicked things off for the Shockers early winning the men's javelin with a throw of 73.62m/241-6. Buckmaster continued the men's Shocker success in field events winning the high jump (2.11m/6-11), while
Pedro Montoya was the lone Shocker from the men's team to claim gold on the track winning the 5000m in 15:27.30.

Kelsey Slawson and Holmes were the only two Shockers to take home gold on the women's side, Slawson won the shot put with a toss of 15.52m/50-11 and Holmes won the 400m in 53.80.

No. 1 Texas Tech won the men's quadrangular with 159 points, followed by Nebraska in second with 151 points and Wichita State in third with 111 points.

The Shocker women placed third with 108 points behind Nebraska in second (158 points) and Texas Tech in first (175 points).
