Topham VideoKyle Larkin was the first champion Shocker champion of the day with a time of 9:27.00 in the 3,000 meter steeplechase.
Nathan Wickoren was fourth in a time of 9:59.02.
Damien Odle set a personal best 221-5/67.48m to win javelin, while
Dylan Reimer was second (208-1/63.43) and
Chase Pote (201-10/61.52m) was third.

Austin Chippeaux finished second in the high jump with a height of at 6-8 1/4 (2.04m)

Tucker Davis improved his personal best in the 400 meters from 48.32 to 47.52 to finish third.

Kelsey Slawson finished fourth and improved her shot put personal record to 47-3 1/2 (14.41m). The distance is third all-time at WSU.

Lycia Hollon was second in the 5,000 meters with a time of 17:38.47.

Isaac Poe went 2-3 in the 400m hurdles with times of 52.75 and 53.03, respectively. Poe set his personal best.

3,000m Steeplechase ResultsTopham won the 1,500m at the Drake Relays with a time of 4:23.09 for a personal best to improve her fourth-best WSU all-time mark behind three All-Americans. Her time also moves into second on the 2016 MVC performance chart.
1,500m Results Wichita State will next be in action May 6 in the Shocker Open, WSU's final tune-up before the MVC Championship May 13-15 in Terre Haute, Ind.
