FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Jason Parrish and
Josh Parrish advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the hurdles, both breaking their own school records on day three of the NCAA West Preliminaries at John McDonnell Field.

Jason Parrish clocked the third-fastest time of the day in the 400-meter hurdles, running 49.16 to get the big Q to the NCAA Semifinals in Eugene, Ore. He finished second in his heat and broke his own program record by 0.01 seconds.

After qualifying to the national meet in the long jump on day one,
Josh Parrish punched another ticket to Hayward Field, winning his 110-meter hurdles quarterfinal with another school record time of 13.17, the second-fastest time of the day.

Also in the 110 hurdles,
Tyler Carroll ran a personal-best time of 13.70, the No. 6 time in school history, to finish 18
th after entering the competition seeded 42
nd.

In the triple jump,
Kelvin Acheampong placed 43
rd in his second-straight NCAA West Prelims appearance, jumping 14.50m/47'7".
