PITTSBURG, Kan. -- Wichita State took a limited squad to the Pitt State Invitational Friday and came away with four individual titles at Carnie Smith Stadium/Guden Track.
Skylar Arneson won the Hammer throw (203-01/61.89m), and was also fourth in the discus (161-02/49.13m) and seventh in the shot put (51-11.0/15.82m).
The Shockers swept the men's and women's javelin with
Dylan Reimer (230-05/70.23) and
Madelyn Halstead (135-07/41.34) winning the event, respectively.
Reimer's throw is the fourth-best in Shocker history and currently the 12th-best in the NCAA.
Austin Corley was the Shockers' final champion with a time of 52.71 in the 400 meter hurdles.

The bulk of Wichita State's men's and women's teams will next compete in the Arkansas Spring Invitational Saturday, which will feature a large and competitive field including: Arkansas Baptist, Barton Community College, Illinois State, Iowa Central, Missouri, Missouri State, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State, South Dakota State, Southeast Missouri, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, No. 15 Tulsa and Wichita State.
WSU will only compete in Saturday's action of the two-day meet, which will start at 10:30 a.m. with prime time action beginning with the 3,000-meter steeplechase at 3 p.m. Click
