2015-16 (Senior): Outdoor: NCAA Qualifier after finishing ninth at the 2016 West Preliminaries in Lawrence, Kan., on his third throw of the competition (207-7/63.28m) ... Entered the competition with the 20th-best throw in the West (205-8/62.68m) and finished ninth... Fouled three throws at the 2016 MVC Outdoor Championship in the hammer to finish with no mark... Was fourth in the shot put and sixth in the discus to score for WSU.  Indoor: Threw a career-best 67-2.75 in the weight throw at the Pitt State Invitational Jan. 29... Was second in the weight throw at the MVC Indoor Championship to earn his first Alll-Valley honor with a throw of 65-11.5/20.11m, and finished sixth in the shot put (54-11.5/16.75m) to also score for WSU.

2014-15 (Redshirt Junior): Outdoor - Finished 21st at the NCAA West Preliminaries with a throw of 200-5 as one of three Shockers in the Top 19 (Cottrell, fifth; Goldsmith - 15th)... His throw of 208-0 at the MVC Outdoor Championship was the second-best at WSU, fourth-best at the meet and 19th-best in the West to earn a qualifying spot in the West Preliminaries... Scored for WSU at the MVC meet with a fourth-best in the hammer, sixth in the shot and eighth in the discus. Indoor - Set personal best with a weight throw of 64-9 3/4 at the 2015 MVC Indoor Championship in Cedar Falls, Iowa, to finish fifth... Also finished fifth in the shot with a throw of 54-7 1/4. 2013-14 (Junior): Set a then-personal best of 17.01m/55-9.75 in the weight throw at the Herm Wilson Invitational while redshirting. 

Junior College: Participated in throws while at Hutchinson CC in Hutchinson, Kan....had personal bests of 55-10.25 in the shot put, 153-11 in the discus, 198-8 in the hammer throw and 57-9.5 in the weight throw...was the NJCAA National Champion in the hammer throw, third in the shot put and third in the weight throw.

High School: Lettered four years in track and field, three in soccer, one in football and one in basketball... In 2011, was second in the shot at the state meet and third in the discus..

Personal: Son of Jim and Jamie Arneson... Born on March 5, 1993 in Hutchinson, Kan... Older sisters, Kristen and Emily, participated in soccer in junior college... Also recruited by Kansas State.
