STILLWATER, Okla. -- The No. 57 Wichita State men's tennis team fell 4-0 at No. 25 Oklahoma State, Tuesday evening at the Greenwood Tennis Center.
OSU (16-5) won the doubles point and staked wins at Nos. 3, 4 and 5 singles. WSU's Tin Ostojic and Ilija Cuic held leads at the No. 1 and 2 spots against nationally-ranked foes, but neither match reached completion after OSU clinched the dual victory.
Ostojic (ITA No. 40) led No. 39 Jakob Sude, 6-1, 3-6, 3-0 when play was halted.
Cuic claimed a 7-5 first-set win against No. 98 Lucas Gerch but trailed 4-3 in the second.
The Shockers finish out the regular season on the road this weekend at Illinois State (Saturday at 11:00 a.m.).
