WICHITA – Wichita State women's basketball head coach
Terry Nooner announced the signing of Klea Kaci from the transfer portal Tuesday afternoon.
Â
"I'm excited to welcome Klea Kaci to Wichita State," Nooner said. "She's a long, knockdown shooter who understands how to play the game. She moves well without the ball, stretches the floor and brings a toughness that shows up every possession."
Â
A 5-foot-11 incoming senior guard, Klea Kaci will join the Shockers after two seasons at Wagner College and the two years prior at Purdue Fort Wayne. As a redshirt-junior in 2025-26, she played in 28 games, making 10 starts and averaging 7.0 points per game. The Mississauga, Ontario, Canada native led the Seahawks in three-point shooting and went 30-for-35 from the free throw line.
Â
"Klea competes with an edge," Nooner said. "She's not afraid of the moment, and she plays the game the right way. That mentality fits exactly what we're building here, and we're glad she's part of the Shocker family."
