LINCOLN, Neb. – The
Wichita State men's golf team opens play in its second tournament of the year, the Git-R-Done Invitational, on Monday at Firethorn Golf Club.
Judd Easterling enters his seventh season as head coach in 2025-26. The Wichita State golf all-time great led his alma mater to a 74-60-2 record last season, setting a new career high for victories in a season.
Last season, the Shockers recorded four top five team finishes, including a win in the Grier Jones Shocker Invitational on Oct. 8, 2024. Wichita State ended last year ranked No. 158 in the Scoreboard end-of-season rankings.
The Shockers finished 11th in the Ram Masters Invitational last week to open the season.
Jose Miguel Ramirez finished tied for 14th to lead Wichita State individually.
