LAREDO, Texas – Wichita State opens spring season action on Monday at the Border Olympics at the Laredo Country Club.
 
In the fall season, Wichita State recorded four top-five team finishes in five events. Their first time posting three successive top-five finishes since the 2020-21 season.
 
Emilio Arellano Lamas set the program record for most consecutive rounds under par at eight, breaking the previous high of six.
 
The Shockers recorded eight individual top 20 results in the fall, led by Lamas and Jose Ramirez who had three each.
