WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State women's tennis team was ranked No. 60 in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) top 75 rankings of the 2025 season.

The Shockers were ranked in all 12 ITA top 75 polls of the season, the most weekly rankings in a single season for the team since 2018. The team peaked in the rankings at No. 47 on March 18, the highest team ranking since 2019.

This year marks the first time since 2018 that the Shockers have ended the season ranked.Â

Additionally, sophomore
Xin Tong Wang added another ranking to her list of accomplishments, ending her second season as a Shocker ranked at No. 111 in singles. The China native was ranked in each top 125 singles rankings of the season, peaking at No. 62 on December 3.Â

The team will return seven of eight scholarship players from this year's team next season.
