LINCOLN, Neb. – Six Shockers earned a total of 14 victories in the Husker Invitational over the weekend at Nebraska's Dillon Tennis Center.

Playing against competition from Illinois, Iowa State, Kansas State, Missouri, and Nebraska, the Shockers finished 8-4 in doubles and 6-9 in singles. Wichita State played its best tennis on Friday, going 8-4 across doubles and singles.

In her first action as a Shocker,
Vichitraporn Vimuktananda posted a 2-1 record in singles, the lone Shocker with a winning record in singles competition on the weekend.

Wichita State's results were highlighted by a 4-0 weekend in doubles from
Kristina Kudryavtseva and
Theodora Chantava. The duo took down two duos from Missouri, one from Nebraska, and one from Illinois in their perfection bid.Â

Sati Aubakirova also had a strong performance in doubles, going 3-1 overall playing with three different partners.

Kudryavtseva was the winningest Shocker, posting five wins on the weekend, with Aubakirova and Chantava posting four each.Â
