WICHITA, Kan. -- In their first season as an NCAA program, the Wichita State women's bowling team was well-represented on the Conference USA postseason All-Conference teams. Head coach
Holly Harris was named the conference's Coach of the Year and four Shockers were tabbed All-Conference.
Sara Duque Jiménez and
Ashtyn Woods were both First Team selections, while
Mary Orf earned Second Team honors and
Paige Wagner secured a spot on the Third Team. The Shockers four All-Conference choices is the second-most in CUSA, trailing only Jacksonville State's seven. The full All-Conference choices and conference superlatives can be found here:

Harris has led Wichita State to an 84-36 overall record and a Conference USA championship, earning Wichita State the #4 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament beginning this week. Of Wichita State's 84 total wins, 51 have come against ranked opponents, highlighted by a seven straight victories in the Contender's Bracket of the CUSA Tournament to bring home the title.
Duque Jiménez, Woods, Orf and Wagner all rank in the top 25 nationally of the PCPI (Player Composite Performance Index). Duque Jiménez leads the Shockers with a 211.2 average, ranking third in the latest edition of the PCPI. The sophomore from Medellin, Colombia is in the top 15 of 24 different national statistical categories and is one of the best spare shooters in the country, leading the nation with an 80.5% spare conversion percentage. Woods averaged 207.5 and ranked 12th in the PCPI, doing most of her damage out of the leadoff spot where her 49.0% strike percentage ranked ninth nationally. Orf logged a 206.3 average and finished 19th in the PCPI, highlighted by a 299 at the Flyer Classic in Wichita State's win over North Carolina A&T on February 8. Wagner has been one of the most consistent pieces in the Wichita State lineup, ranking 22nd in the PCPI and excelling in traditional formats, where she is top five in both frame average (21.316) and fill percentage (90.7%).
The Shockers open their NCAA tournament regional on Friday at 8:00 am CT against Felician at the Royal Scot Bowling Center in Lansing, Michigan.
