WICHITA – For the second time this indoor season, Jaleel Montgomery was named American Athletic Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
 
The junior from Wichita ran 7.89 in the 60-meter hurdles final to finish seventh at the Arkansas Qualifier. Montgomery maintains the conference lead in the event with his season-best time of 7.79.
 
Montgomery and the Shockers are set to compete at the AAC Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Ala. on Feb. 23-24.
