PINEHURST, N.C. - Kenni Henson shot a team-best four-over par during the final round of the AAC Women's Golf Championships at Pinehurst No. 6 on Tuesday.
 
This was Henson's lowest round of the season and two strokes off her career low round of 74. She avoided errors and her birdie on the second hole put her in position to climb up the Shocker scorecard.
 
In her final tournament as a Shocker, Michelle Ledermann finished second on the team in the standings and her two birdies on holes two and fourteen gave her the lead in birdies with 6.
 
The championship this year proved to be a high scoring affair. Only five rounds under par were shot and individual medalist Dorthea Forbrigd of ECU was the only golfer to finish under par for the tournament. Houston's Karen Fredgaard, who is the sixth ranked golfer in GolfStat, shot the best round of the tournament during the final round with a 67 (-5).
 
Freshman Madison Slayton shot her best round of the tournament to finish third on the scorecard. Mar Vidal faltered on the final day, but she still finished the tournament tied for the third best golfer on Par 3 holes with a 3.08 average.
