Kelsey Slawson and
Taniyah McMillian set Wichita State school records as the Shockers wrapped up the regular season Friday night at the Arkansas Qualifier.

The Shockers came away with 11 personal bests and four Wichita State all-time top-10 marks on the final week of the regular season.

The women's team highlighted the day setting seven personal bests, four Shocker all-time top-10 marks and two school records.

Senior
Kelsey Slawson won the shot put, while setting a school record with a mark of 15.72m/51-7. The Paola, Kan., native currently has the No. 2 mark in the American Athletic Conference. Â

Redshirt freshman
Taniyah McMillian continues to impress in the 200m. The Oklahoma City native set a school record winning section five of the 200m with a personal best time of 24.10. McMillian's time is eighth fastest in The American.

Other Shocker women recording all-time top-10 marks include,
Jacque Darby and
Emily Gardiner. Darby won section four of the 200m with a time of 24.36, moving her to No. 3 all-time. Gardiner cleared a personal best height of 3.83m/12-6.75 in the pole vault, her mark ranks No. 8 on the Shocker all-time list.

Cassidy Androff,
Daysha Bullocks,
Anycia Cole, Nerea Quirós and
Sidney Sapp each set personal best on the women's team. Androff improved her weight throw mark by almost three feet (15.08m/49-5.75), Cole ran a personal best 9.07 in the 60m hurdles, Bullocks clocked a 25.25 200m, Quirós recorded a mark of 5.13m/16-10 in the long jump and Sapp ran a 25.20 200m.

On the men's side, the Shockers recorded nine top-5 finishes and finished the day equaling or setting four personal bests.

Davis Dubbert equaled his personal best in the 60m hurdles (9.52) and high jump (1.95m/6-4.75).
Adam Mudge ran a personal best in the 400m (51.72), while
Chandler Stiawalt ran a personal best 9.16 in the 60m hurdles.

Senior
Cory Martens recorded two top-5 finishes. The Newton, Kan., native finished second in the weight throw (19.07m/62-6.75) and fifth in the shot put (15.85m/52-0).

Wichita State will travel to Birmingham, Ala., with 32 men and 32 women to compete at the 2019 American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships on Friday, Feb. 22-23.
