MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Four members of the Wichita State men's tennis team are set to begin the Gopher Men's Invitational on Friday, at the Baseline Tennis Center.
Â
The Shockers who made the trek up to Minnesota are
Zach Grueber,
Stefan Latinovic,
Alex Richards, and
Rafael Serra.
Â
The tournament will put players into two-man teams, and then divide them among the Ski-U-Mah, Maroon, and Gold draws. Each team will begin their matchup by playing one doubles set to six, with a seven-point tiebreak at 6-6. A win in the doubles portion is worth one team point. Immediately following the doubles match, teams will split off and play two singles matches against the same team which are worth one point each. The first team to three points will earn the win.
