NORMAN, Okla. – Eight members of the Wichita State University men's tennis team will be in action starting today in the ITA Central Regional Championships, at the Headington Family Tennis Center, in Norman, Okla.
 
The tournament will only have one doubles draw that will begin at 8 a.m., and one singles draw that will begin at 12 p.m.
 
For doubles, the teams that will be competing for the Shockers will be Elio Lago with Orel Ovil (13 seed), Bruno Serra with Stefan Latinovic, Zach Grueber with Rafael Serra, and Marius Frosa with Alex Richards (15 seed).
 
In singles, the seven players competing for WSU will be Lago, Ovil (30 seed), R. Serra, Richards, Latinovic (31 seed), B. Serra, and Marius Frosa (25 seed).
 
Below is a list of all day one matches scheduled for the Shockers.
 
Doubles:
Grueber/R. Serra vs. Harrison/Bortnick (Arkansas) 8 a.m.
Lago/Ovil vs. Lopez/Diaz (Creighton) OR Quintana/E. Henry (Neb. Omaha) 9 a.m.
B. Serra/Latinovic vs. Moreno Lozano/Gleason (Neb.) 9 a.m.
Frosa/Richards vs. Snezhko/Clegg (Iowa) 10:30 a.m.
 
Singles:
Lago vs. Reid Jarvis (Drake) 12:30 p.m.
R. Serra vs. Daniel Lopez (Creighton) 2:00 p.m.
Richards vs. Blake Sprouse (Oral Roberts) 2:30 p.m.
B. Serra vs. Alvaro Quintana (Neb. Omaha) 3:30 p.m.
