COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - Senior Gavrilla Arya tied her career-low with a 71 on Tuesday in the final round of the Coeur D'Alene Invitational.
 
Arya, who last achieved that score in the second round of the UTRGV Invitational on March 8, 2016, jumped 21 places from Monday's 36 holes to finish in the top 50 individually.
 
Senior Laine Evans finished in a tie for 40th, shooting a 73 in the final round to lead all Shockers with 222 overall. Freshman Hana Mirnik shot a 77 for a total of 232 while junior Michelle Ledermann scored her lowest round of the tournament with a 75 to obtain 233 total. Junior Annika Chickering shot an 81 in the final round, compiling a 54-hole score of 234.
 
The Shockers finished 17th overall, compiling a team score of 904. Illinois won the tournament thanks to a five-stroke lead over San Jose State.
 
Wichita State returns to action on Monday with a trip to Columbia, Mo., for the Johnie Imes Invitational. Updates throughout the tournament will be available on the women's golf team's Twitter @goshockerswglf.
