WICHITA, Kan. – Four Wichita State volleyball student-athletes have been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team. Senior
Abbie Lehman and sophomore
Alex Koon were named to the first team, while seniors
Emily Hiebert and
Mikaela Raudsepp were named to the second team.
The CoSIDA Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
Lehman, a middle blocker from Newton, Kan., has a 3.81 GPA in exercise science, Koon, an outside hitter from Williamsburg, Va., has a 4.00 GPA in psychology, Hiebert, a setter from Newton, Kan., has a 3.86 GPA in physical education and Raudsepp, an outside hitter from Dundee, Ore., has a 3.82 GPA in biological sciences.
First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team ballot, with first, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees to be announced in December.
