Wichita State held its eighth-annual Gold Carpet Awards on Monday night, recognizing student-athletes from all 15 varsity sports teams for their outstanding achievements on the playing field and in the classroom over the past 12 months.

Scholar Award: This award goes out to a Junior or Senior who receives the highest academic honors and achieves exceptional academic success.
