ITA Summer Circuit
WICHITA, Kan. -- One of the fastest-growing events in all of tennis, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Summer Circuit comes to Wichita State's Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex, Saturday, July 9 through Sunday, July 11, for men's and women's tournament action.

Austin Williams is one of over a dozen Wichita-area natives competing.

Williams – seeded fourth among the 41 entries in the men's singles draw – will see his first action at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning. The 20-player women's singles draw also kicks off that day.

The ITA Summer Circuit, which began in 1993, provides college tennis players, along with junior players and alumni, the opportunity to compete in organized events during the summer months.
Â
All events are played on college campuses. The six-week 2016 ITA Summer Circuit runs from late June through the end of July and features 50 tournaments spread out over 24 states.

Players that advance out of the qualifying tournaments will head to Bloomington, Indiana, to take part in the ITA Summer Nationals, held Aug. 13-16 at Indiana University.
