WICHITA, Kan.  --  Wichita State's track and field team will take a selected split squad to the UNI/Jack Jennet Invitational and the Pitt State Invitational Friday and Saturday.

Multi-athletes and pole vaulters will compete at Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa, Friday and Saturday, while throwers and five distance runners will travel to Pittsburg, Kan., to compete Friday afternoon and evening. Live stats will be available here for the Pitt State Invitational at the Plaster Center. Live stats will be available here for the Jennet Invitational at the UNI Dome.

At UNI, the multi-events get started at 10 a.m., Friday, with the men's 60 meter dash. The men will compete in the 60 meters, long jump, shot put and the high jump on the first day of the Heptathlon and complete the event with the 60 meter hurdles, pole vault and the 1,000 meters.

The women's 60 meter hurdles kicks off the Pentathlon on Saturday at 10:15 a.m., followed by the high jump, shot put, long jump and 800 meters to wrap up the five-event multi.

Meg Loontjer and Page Stuhlsatz will compete in the women's pole vault at noon, while Hayden Bugner, Zack Kudlinski and Andrew Pope will compete in the pole vault on the men's side following the women.

The event at Pitt State begins with the weight throw at noon followed by the shot put which will include the Shocker throwers making the trip, while the women's 800 meter run, which will include Sarah Wright, is set for 5:45 p.m. Dray Carson, Joe Harter, Kyle Larkin and Austin Sturdy will compete in the 300 meters set for 7:10 p.m. Live stats will be available here for the Pitt State Invitational at the Plaster Center.
