Wins this season have come against Lipscomb three times, Ball State, Hawaii, Wright State, Dayton, BelmontWashington and Jefferson, Evansville and Eureka. Losses have come against Arkansas State three times, Ball State, Lipscomb, UNLV twice, LMU, Wright State, Dartmouth twice, Evansville twice and Creighton three times. As a team, the Braves are hitting .305 with a 6.23 ERA. Mike Tauchman leads BU offensively as he is hitting .407 with nine doubles, three triples, two home runs and 28 RBI. BU is led by fifth-year head coach Elvis Dominguez.

Moore Gets First HitJunior college transfer
Sean Moore started his Shocker career 0-for-5, but had his first Division I hit on Sunday against Indiana State. Moore hit a three-run home run in the ninth inning of the game for his first career hit as a Shocker and first career home run. It was also the first time the Shockers had a pinch-hit home run since Travis Bennett did it against Evansville in 2010.
Extra InningsAfter playing eight extra-inning games last season, the Shockers finally played their first of the 2013 season on March 29 against Illinois State. The Shockers won 4-3 in 12 innings after a walk-off double from
Joe Haddox. The Shockers are now 7-2 in extra-inning games since last season.
