"It was very windy in our first outdoor match in over a
month, and I told the team they were going to need to be mentally tough and win
ugly at times," head coach Colin Foster said. "Across the board we competed so
well."
It was great fight and determination at all three doubles
and all six singles," added Foster. "We've got a day off tomorrow and we have
another tough match on Saturday."
The Shocker women will stay in Texas and head to Fort Worth
for a battle against No. 19 TCU on Saturday. The match will begin at 10 a.m.
