The Wichita State women's golf team finished play at the 2006 Lady Irish Invitational. The Shockers finished the tournament in tenth with an overall score of 965 (314-322-329).

The Univ. of Cincinnati won the invitational with an overall score of 919 (310-306-303), tournament host, Notre Dame, took second with a score of 925 (306-306-313).

Catalina Guacaneme finished in tied for eighth with an overall score of 230 (76-75-79). She was twelve strokes behind the winner of the tournament, Hillery Wilson from Cincinnati (77-69-72=218). Nicole Lloyd finished with a score of 240 (77-81-82), which tied for 31st.

Jamie Raines was next for WSU with a 249 (81-86-82) overall score, which tied for 54th. Ashley Parker finished tied for 59th with an overall score of 251 (80-85-86). Krista Hrdlicka finished scoring for the Shockers with a 263 (93-81-89) and placed in 68th.

WSU will now prepare for play at the Marilynn Smith/Sunflower Invite in Lawrence, Kan. on Oct. 1.
