Through cold winds and rain, the Wichita State men's golf team is currently in 9th place out of 12 teams after the second round at the 2006 Boilermaker Invitational. The invitational is held at the Birk Boilermaker Golf Course in West Lafayette, La. with a par 72-7083. The Shockers end the second round with an overall score of 617 with rounds of 310 and 307.
Cameron Bishop currently leads WSU. Bishop is tied for 13th and is shooting a 150 (78-72).
Ty Sanders and Brandon Hermreck are both tied for 38th with an overall score of 157. Sanders has rounds of 74 and 83, while Hermreck has rounds of 76 and 81.
Ryan Spears is tied for 47th with a score of 159 (82-77). Jeff Zimmerman ends the second round tied for 51st with rounds of 83 and 77.
The Shockers will finish play at the 2006 Boilermaker Invitational tomorrow, Sunday April 9th.
