PEORIA, Ill.- The Wichita State women's golf team has finished its fall season at the Bradley Missouri Valley Conference Preview. The Shockers competed at the par-72, 6,034 yard Weaver Ridge Golf Club and finished sixth with a two round total of 643 (326-317).
Southern Illinois won the tournament with a 622 (310-312) and was five strokes ahead of Missouri State who finished with a 627 (312-315). Host of the invitational, Bradley, finished third with a 634 (313-321).
Seniors Catalina Guacaneme and Nicole Lloyd led the Shockers with a 159 (81-78) and tied for 14th. Junior Jamie Raines tied for 17th and finished with a 160 (82-78). Sophomore Megan Bartlett finished with a 167 (82-85) and tied for 29th, while fellow sophomore Krista Hrdlicka tied for 33rd and scored a 168 (85-83).
WSU will now prepare for its spring season beginning in February.
