A New Season Begins
• Wichita State men's tennis is in its fourth season under head coach
Darragh Glavin.
• The Shockers went 12–13 last season, their best record and highest win total under Glavin.
• Wichita State has a preseason team Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) of 74.43, which ranks as No. 66 in the NCAA.
• WSU's team UTR is the fifth-highest in the American Conference.
• The Shockers are 2-5on the season with wins over New Mexico State and Omaha.
Last Match
• The Shockers lost at Texas Tech on Saturday, 4-0.
• After the Red Raiders took doubles with wins at No. 1 and No. 2, the Shockers responded by competing very well in singles, but ultimately fell short in some very close matches.
Fall Notes
• The Shockers earned 12 singles wins and five doubles wins in limited fall action.

Alejandro Jacome led the Shockers in the fall with four singles wins, including three at the American Conference Singles Championship.

• Five Shockers return for another season in Wichita in 2026.
