EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Wichita State is set to open play in its third tournament of the year, the SIUE Dolenc Invitational, on Friday at Gateway National Golf Links.

The Shockers enter fresh off a fourth-place finish at the Git-R-Done Invitational in Lincoln, Neb., last week. A tournament where the Shockers were only defeated by three Power Four programs. The Shockers were in contention for the lead before ultimately settling into fourth.

Wichita State opened the 2024-25 campaign at the SIUE Dolenc Invitational, where they finished as team runner-up behind host SIUE by just four strokes.

This year's version of the tournament features a similar 18-team field, with the top four teams from last year – SIUE, Wichita State, Bradley, and Southern Illinois – all returning for another go-around.
