MGLF Preview: GCU Invitational

PHOENIX – After a month away from tournament action, the Wichita State men's golf team resumes the 2025 spring season on March 11 in the GCU Invitational at GCU Golf Course.
 
The Shockers return to action after tying for tenth place in the Los Vaqueros Intercollegiate in Cancun, Mexico, on February 4.

Four familiar faces return to the lineup for the Shocker lineup, while Caden Cox is set to make his first ever appearance.

Michael Winslow (Sr.) – Fourth year Shocker…Tied for 5th on September 10 at SIUE Dolenc Invitational…2024 AAC All-Conference selection…2024 Kansas Amateur Champion…2023 Missouri Amateur and Kansas Amateur runner-up… set career best marks for 18- and 54-hole scores at the AAC Championship on April 21...Fourth place finish at the AAC Championship was best of career and best of any Shocker at the Championship all-time
 
Mitchell Revie (Jr.) – First-year Shocker…Indian Hills Community College Transfer…Won 2023 NJCAA Division I Team National Championship…Once posted 64 round score which was the third lowest in IHCC history…
 
Jose Carletta (Jr.) – Transfer from Indian Hills Community College…Tied for ninth at Bayou City Collegiate Classic on October 1…Won 2024 NJCAA Central District Champion by five strokes with an eight-under (208) performance at IHCC...Earned NJCAA All-American distinction with eighth-place finish at NJCAA National Championship in Hobbs, New Mexico...2024 NJCAA PING All-American Honorable Mention

Next Up: 
The Shockers will remain in Arizona and travel to Tucson to play in the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate March 17-18 at Tucson Country Club.
