HARAHAN, La. -- The #5-ranked Wichita State women's bowling team concludes the fall portion of the 2025-26 schedule with a trip to a familiar venue, traveling to Louisiana for the Colonial Lanes Classic hosted by Tulane. The tournament begins Friday, November 21 and concludes on Sunday, November 23.
Wichita State made two visits to Colonial Lanes last season. The Shockers finished 7th at the 2024-25 edition of the Colonial Lanes Classic, but made a triumphant return in the spring by claiming the Conference USA tournament championship.
The traditionally strong tournament field includes eight of the top nine times in the country, four of which Wichita State will battle in Saturday's traditional matches.

Baker matches are structured with five players combining to bowl one game, each bowling two frames. Player one bowls frames 1 and 6, player two bowls frames 2 and 7, player three bowls frames 3 and 8, player four bowls frames 4 and 9 and player 5 bowls frames 5 and 10. In traditional matches, five players each bowl an individual game, with all five games added together.
The Shockers are coming off an up-and-down showing at the Bulldog Classic in Fort Worth, where Wichita State went 8-2 over the first two days of competition with wins over #1 Jacksonville State, #6 Arkansas State, #8 Sam Houston and #9 Louisiana Tech, but then suffered three consecutive defeats in Sunday's bracket play.
