WICHITA, Kan. - Due to inclement weather in the forecast this weekend, Wichita State softball has altered two of its final four exhibition games on the schedule.

Wichita State was originally scheduled to host Murray State College this Saturday, Oct. 25, but that game has now been moved to Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 2 p.m. The exhibition vs. Butler Community College has been moved up to Thursday, Oct. 30 at 6 p.m.

Wichita State's scrimmages vs. Hutchinson Community College on Oct. 29 and Seminole State on Nov. 6 remain the same.

The four remaining scrimmages will all feature situational scrimmages. The 10 innings will consist of different situations for the hitting team. Each inning will start with no outs. The team that scores the most runs in each inning will earn a point for that inning. For example, if Wichita State outscores OSU 3-2 in an inning, the Shockers earn a point for the inning. The game will be scored by who wins the inning instead of how many runs are scored in that inning. At the conclusion of 10 innings, the team with the most innings won, wins the game. Innings 1,3,5,7,9 will start clean with no runners on base like normal. Innings 2,4,6,8,10 will start with runners on base.
