The Wichita State multi-event athletes are set to compete in their first heptathlon and decathlon of the outdoor season on Wednesday and Thursday at home in Cessna Stadium. The majority of the team will then compete down the road at the Friends Spring Open, while three high jumpers will travel to Fayetteville, Ark. for the Arkansas Spring Invitational.

Destiny Masters,
Tess Roman,
Sadie Millard,
Abby Klipstein and
Kenisa Meyer will all compete in uniform in the heptathlon, and
Adria Navajon and
Luke Czarnecki will compete in the decathlon. The Shockers will compete against athletes from Colorado State and Cloud County CC.

The decathlon begins Wednesday at noon with the 100 meters, and the heptathlon kicks off at 12:30 p.m. with the 100-meter hurdles. Day two events will now begin at
noon.

Three Shocker high jumps will make the trip to Arkansas to compete in the high jump.
Brady Palen,
Marissa Jensen and
Mattelyn Swartz. The men's high jump competition begins on Saturday at 4 p.m., followed by the women's competition at 5:30 p.m.

The remainder of the team will compete at the Friends Spring Open over the course of three days, starting on Thursday will the hammer throw at 10 a.m.
