SHOCKER NOTES
  • The 2024 campaign is the 15th for the Shockers under the guidance of Colin Foster.
  • The Shockers (13-9) enter the match after defeating Tulsa in second round of the Championship.
  • Wichita State is 4-1 at neutral sites this season and 2-1 playing in Texas. 
  • The Shocker roster is made up of five returners and three international additions in Giorgia Roselli, Anne Knuettel, and Xin Tong Wang.
  • In the fall, freshman Wang advanced to the semifinals of both singles and doubles at the Fighting Illini open in Champaign, Illinois on Nov. 9
  • In team action in the fall, Roselli and sophomore Kristina Kudryavtseva tied for the team lead in singles wins with five each.
  • In doubles, the duo of Theodora Chantava and Clara Whitaker totaled the most doubles wins in the fall with four.

SHOCKERS AT THE AAC TOURNAMENT
  • Since joining the American in 2018, Wichita State is 3-5 at the AAC Tournament.
  • The Shockers broke their four-match long losing streak at the tournament with Thursday's win over Tulsa.
  • Wichita State is 0-2 in the quarterfinals of the Championship.

  • Since the 2016 season, the Shockers are 21-34 against ITA top-75 opponents.
