BELLEAIR, Fla. – The Wichita State men's golf team will conclude their spring season at the American Athletic Conference Championship beginning on April 19 at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida.
Head Coach
Judd Easterling is looking forward to competing at Pelican once again.
"Pelican is an incredible place and fantastic course," said Easterling. "The members and staff at Pelican are fantastic and really want us to be there and I know they will have the course in incredible shape."
The Shockers have been playing well in the spring, as they are coming off a pair of quality finishes in their last two tournaments and have earned two top-five finishes in the spring season so far.
"The guys on the team have shown glimpses and pieces of really good play," said Easterling. "We've had really good stretches at times and are hoping to continue our quality level of play in the conference tournament."
In terms of lineup,
Lucas Scheufler will return to the Shocker lineup in place of
Tate Herrenbruck, who will still make the trip to Florida and serve as an available substitution for the Shockers.
