TULSA, Okla. – The Wichita State men's tennis team will make their first full team trip of the fall when they travel to Tulsa's Michael D. Case Tennis Center to compete in the 2024 ITA Central Region Championships October 16-20.

Seven Shockers will make the short trip to Tulsa to compete in the event with a flurry of teams from the central United States.

The four-day event begins on Wednesday morning and will start the journey to the 2024 NCAA Division I Individual Fall Championships in Waco, Texas at Baylor's Hurd Tennis Center, November 19-24.Â

The two singles finalists from each of the 13 regions and the doubles champion of each region will punch their ticket to the Fall Championships. Those that fall short of the championship matches may still be able to earn bids to Waco by earning bids to the ITA Sectional Championships and the ITA Conference Masters tournament in early November. This event also is an opportunity for players to get matches in against a flurry of opponents from around the region.

The Shocker matches scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday are below. Winners of the first round of qualifying matches in singles will play another round of qualifiers later in the day on Wednesday for a spot in the Thursday's main draw.
